Accuracy

Impartiality
Impartiality and neutrality is also extremely important. It is the reporter’s job to relay the information as accurately as possible without interpreting or judging what either party means. They are a messenger and should not influence either party in any way.
Sufficient Preparation
This involves being up to speed on any previous hearings, interviews or statements that have been provided to you by the court. Know the case and understand what the court is trying to achieve, so that you are capable of relaying the most reliable and accurate information possible.
